Spoiled and killed
Prologue
To begin, with once there was a girl named Juliet; she is a very spoiled and bratty. Also, she is known as the most popular girl in high school, she is the cheer captain of the high school cheerleaders. Also she has a fancy sports car and her dad is the owner of the biggest sporting good stores in the state of California.
This is the story of how Juliet Smith died.
One day Juliet was driving her brand new sports car to school. When she got to school she stole another girls parking spot. She then walked up to school went passed her locker and straight to her group of friends. Naturally being the snotty brat she is comments on her friends outfit and called it stupid.
Her friends didn’t say anything, her friends never say anything, they just stand there mostly because they are scared that they might become unpopular if the stood up to her.
Then Juliet walked to her locker.
Her locker is not next to the coolest kind in school he is kid of a nerd. That is exactly what she refers to him as, his real name is Scott, he is the captain of the math team and the geography team.
Scott is 5,7’ and skinny, he has long black greasy hair and glasses with tape on the bridge of his nose. He is very self centered and when he is the only one right in class he thinks that everyone is naïve.
Later that day Juliet leaves school and on the way out of the parking lot she nearly hits Scott with her car and doesn’t even say, sorry she just says watch it nerd.
Now as you can imagine Scotts temperatures are flaring with Juliet.
Scott then just keeps walking he walks straight to his house and down into the basement, he sleeps down there his family isn’t the richest so he sleep in the basement, he mostly spends all of his time down there building rockets or working on homework.
In addition, Scott has an twin brother named Jon let’s just say Jon is the cooler half, he is on the soccer team and is strong and gets all the girls. Jon at one time dated Juliet but they broke up. Jon is also not very nice to Scott because Jon has a bedroom upstairs, every time Scott goes into the basement Jon calls it the nerd cave.
Even though Juliet and Jon dated and she new Scott’s family well she is still mean to Scott. Juliet finishes off the week with only one more incident with Scott he closed his locker to hard and it made a very loud noise. She got angry and called him stupid and he needs to get a life and stop being such a nerd. So in Scotts defense he called her a snotty brat that will never get though life on her daddy’s money. Now as you can guess Juliet was mad at this but just turned her back and walked away.
To start the weekend out Juliet went to the mall with all of her friends they go to there favorite store and split up to find their favorite outfits.
Juliet goes her own way and then in the section of the store she is in, the lights turn off. Before she knows it there is a sock over her head and she is being pulled into a room. She screams let me go.
She is pushed in to a chair and tied up then the sock comes off her head, who is she face to face with; Scott is right there the first thing she says is let me go you nerd!
Scott just laughs and says, “no the only way you are going out of this room is in that box. I told you to stop making fun of me and you never did so know I am going to kill you and no one is going to know you are missing.’’
Let me go you freaky psychopath Juliet says in a blood curdling scream.
Scott laughs and pulls his cart over with all of his knifes. He then puts duct tape on her mouth. And begins the process he starts with her head he grabs the biggest knife and then thwack her head comes off. He finishes off cutting the rest of her body into pieces he then takes the body and put it in to a box tapes the box up and walks out of the mall gets in his car and drives to the river.
Later at the river he is just about to throw the box into the water when a cop walks up and says he stop Scott then takes the bow and throws it in the water pulls out a gun and shoots himself in the head before the cop can do anything to stop him.
Then another cop goes and gets the box in the river. They later figured out who the body was all cut up.
Everyone’s hearts were broken and no one new that Scott, the school nerd could have turned out to be a psychopath killer.
Both of the family’s hearts were broken but it shows you to be nice all the time or at least to the right people or otherwise you could end up dead.

Speak
Imagine going into your freshman year and haveing eveybody hate you because you called 911 at a party the summer before; they don't know that you got raped at that party. You’re the student who everybody stairs, at who nobody talks to and who can quiet a room just by walking into it. This happens to a girl named Melinda in the novel Speak. In this novel Melinda has a very dysfunctional family with many symbols thoughout the whole novel.
To begin with the symbols in this novel are very interesting because very from a art project to the tree in her yard. Although Melinda is shy and quiet the tree in the novel represents her life greatly. Likewise Melinda has a bad life; therefore the tree she must complete the before the end of the year in art class keeps turning out horrible. In addition in Melinda’s yard there is a dead tree that needs trimming before dieses take over it. Towards the end of the book Melinda’s father has the branches trimmed. This relates to Melinda life because at the end of the book Melinda forgets about all of the memories and goes on with her life just like the tree branches getting cut off, the tree is going to go on with his life.
Now that you know what the tree means as a symbol, the other symbol that I want to talk about is the closet. In the high school one Melinda decides to make a secret hide out so one day after school Melinda doesn’t take the bus home and cleans out the old janitor's closet and makes a hide out. This symbol is like a sanctuary where Melinda can go during the school day to hang out and take a load off. This is also where Melinda hangs her bad art work. Melinda’s closet is good for her because it is a place where she can think and relax
In addition to the bad memories Melinda’s family is very dysfunctional. Her parents argue a lot; evidence of this is on page 36 “Deprived of victim Mom and Dad holler at each other.” This shows that Melinda’s family is very dysfunctional and don’t listen to what each other has to say and I don’t think arguing is going to help so my advice is to talk one at a time, also listen to what each other has to say this way they will be more functional. Secondly Melinda being so shy does not help the family being so dysfunctional because nobody want to be around somebody that doesn’t talk also if she ever wants to get along with her family she has to tell them what her feelings are.
To finish off with this novel in which there are many symbols and a very dysfunctional family.
