Teenagers should not get an allowance. Although you are just a teenager, you should be more independent and get a job.
To begin with teenagers should not get allowance. I don’t, and I have everything I need; anyways at this age they should be getting real jobs because businesses always need a extra hand, I have one and I always have money in my wallet. Also teenagers need to learn that Mom and Dad won’t be giving you allowance all of your life, and you have to grow up sometimes sooner is better than later. Also parents you should know that jobs also give discipline to your kids and it will teach them to work for something that they want.
In conclusion teenagers should not get and allowance and they should get a job.

Veterans Day
Did you know that the only day that veterans are really honored is on November 11 of every year. To begin with I think that every day we should take a couple of minutes just to honor the veterans that served for are country and fought over seas.
In the first place I think that there should be at least one day every month to remember the veterans that served for our country. They should also be honored for the war that they served in, for example if there is a person that served in WWI they should be remembered for that on the day the war ended. Also a think that every that every public area and state building the workers should have to either say the pledge of allegiance or play National anthem before they start their work day. Just as us students of ASA Clark middle school say the Pledge of allegiance every morning.
I am not saying that we should take away November 11 but we take more time out of each month to remembered the remember the men and woman that served every American to keep this country a free place to live.
In one case we should take one day out of each month to remember our veterans. I know that they would be thankful.

The History of the Green Bay Packers
I remember my first Packer game; walking up to Lambeau field the size was tremendous. We walked up to our seats and it was like the world stopped spinning. There I was watching my favorite team in the world, I am a true Packer fan. True Packer fans have always stood by the Packers though there highs and lows of Packer history.
To begin with on August 11, 1919 Curly Lambeau and George Whitney dreamed up a football team that would be later called the Green Bay Packers(Cameron). Later that week there dream came true. A bunch of guys from the Green Bay meat packing company agreed to join the team, they were the Green Bay Packers (Cameron). Later that week Lee Remmel a manager at the factory alerted the media that there would be a press conference to unveil the first Green Bay Packers and there selection of players. The first Green Bay Packers went 10-1, playing teams from upper Michigan (Cameron).
The beginning of how the Packers got started was not nearly as interesting as how the teamed played in the 1960’s. This is the Lombardi era, Vince Lombardi was one of the most successful Green Bay coaches so far in the history of the Green Bay Packers. His first season in 1959, he took the team to championships in 1961, 62, 65, 66, and 67. In the nine years of Lombardi coaching the Packers had 98 wins, 30 losses and 4 ties (Packers.com).
Of course the wins were great, but the Packer experience had been even better. Right Guard Rich Moran, “finishing his eighth year with the Green Bay Packers in 1992, said, “I’m from the San Diego area and out there everyone thought it was crazy when the Chargers made it to the playoffs. The fans were excited and the city was fired up. I had to laugh because that was the kind of excitement in Green Bay for training camp” (Cameron). President Bob Harlan of the Green Bay Packers said, “ The Normal NFL when they come to Lambeau field and they don’t walk around like they do at other fields they just stand there and look at all the names in the Packer Hall of Fame. Look at all the championship seasons painted at the top of the Stadium in amazement” (Cameron).
Although the Packers experience was great it has almost gone away with all the financial troubles. Now that the Green Bay Packers have gone through many ups and downs, I don’t have enough fingers to count. At one time selling a car saved the whole organization from bankruptcy. Times have changed though and the once little organization is now a multi-million dollar organization. There has also been some remodeling to Lambeau field making the organization strong and has been running great (Cameron).
I am a true Packer fan and the Green Bay Packers are unarguably my favorite team to watch. It still amazes me of all the ups and downs of history that they still developed a great football team.

Social Studies Questions
How did the goals of the North and the South differ in the civil war?
To begin with the north wanted to end slavery and the south wanted to keep it in addition Lincoln wanted to reunite the states the south really didn’t care about that they just wanted to run the show there way. There were also more democratic in the south and Lincoln was a republican therefore none of the southern states voted for he they wanted the country to be more of a democracy.
If I lived in 1861 would you have said the north of the south would win? Why?
At the start of the war I think I would have chosen the south to win this is because they were more prepared at the start of the war and they knew what they wanted and they were going to fight for it. In addition they did have more trained higher ranking soldiers but the north had 3x the population and they formed a huge militia army . That is one of the main causes for the north winning the civil war.

Ironman 2
This weekend my brothers and I saw the new ironman 2 in my opinion this is one of many sequels that is not as good as the first movie. I think the plot line was very poor they the producers tried way too hard to make the movie cool with a lot of special effects and what they should have focused on is the plot line. Compared to the first movie it was poor Robert Downy Jr. the main character was not himself in this movie and I think taking that out of him was a poor choice because he fits the character of ironman very well and that is why the movie plot line was very dull. In conclusion I think that they added a lot of parts that were not needed particular with the Russian man Ivan who didn’t make a very convincing villain.

Forgotten Fire Essay
Imagine being stuck in your country and having your own government turn on you. The book Forgotten Fire is a tragedy, with many different connections and symbols.
To begin with Forgotten Fire is a tragedy. This is because Vahan the main character does have a raise to power, this is being wealthy, having a family and lots of good friends evidence of this is on page 4, “In 1915, I was twelve years old the youngest and most respected Armenians in Turkey.” Vahan has many tragic flaws some of these flaws are trusting the wrong people. On page the scene takes place in Vahans families garden. The police is talks to his mom as Vahan holds his brother and sisters hands. Then the police man looks all of them and says, “You all are coming with us.” In addition there is also a tragic fall this is when his father is taken away and he does not come back. Also his brother are killed in the family garden. This is the tragic fall because when the soldiers of you own country kill you family Vahan knows thing are going to get worse and he might be the next one to die. Lastly what makes the book Forgotten Fire a definite tragedy is it ends in death. The books ends with just Vahan he is the only one left in his family of 10. The rest are all dead.
Secondly this horrible tragedy also has many connections to our world now. These connections very having two army’s fight. There is a death march in the book just like in the real world. Evidence of this is on page 47, in this scene Vahan his mother, sister and grandmother are being lead by the military and none knows where they are going or what is going to happen. Next there is also a connection on illegal immigrants they were not allowed across the boarder without letting the government know.
Along with many connections there are also many symbols in this novel. These symbols are a baby, and a barn. First off the baby stands for many things in Vahan life such as life and friendship because in the later chapters Vahans meets a girl named Seta she has a baby and then gets sick and dies, but the baby will always stays in Vahans hart and will always remember his one and only love Seta. The Next symbol is a barn in the middle of the book Vahan is taken in by the old governor as a stable boy. He was in charge taking care of horses and cleaning up after them this barn acted like Vahan room will always be a horrible memory of what the governor was like.
To finish off with this tragedy with many connections and symbols shows us all how much insanity the world had that it all turned out ok.
Analysis of forgotten Fire
I compared this essay to some of my other ones and hands down I am depressed about this one I had no text evidence from the book. In addition my word choice is the worst it has every been I dare anyone that reads this essay to find at least one good thing about this story and post it in comments.

Causes for the civil
There were a lot of causes for the civil war one is a Abraham Lincoln being elected for president he wanted slaves to be free. In addition the south wanted more of a democracy and wanted to be free from the union. While the north wanted to be more of one united country. Another big cause of the civil war is Economic and social differences between the north and the south. In addition the south didn’t want to pay taxes to the north this is because none of the money was going to the south to help with what needed to be fixed. Also the north was buying the raw cotton and turning it into fixed goods the south was not a big fan of this due to the fact that they don’t get a profit of the finished goods. Also there was a big growth in the Abolition movement that held some very violent protests in the south. These are just some of the reasons that the south attacked the north in the Civil war.

Track
We lost are first track meet ever cense middle school began. This is a new start to a very successful track season next year in my beliefs there is no other thing that makes people work harder and failing at least once. In addition failing makes you stronger in a way because if you don’t fail once you will never figure out what you need to improve on for example I didn’t do very good in the track meet over all but at least I know what to improve on in the future and that will lead to bigger and better things in life.

The Proslavery Defense
In my defense this is wrong in so many ways the author of this story George Fitzhugh is bias towards African American people along with slaves in general. He believes that people are born to be that way and if slaves shouldn’t be treated with respect. Men are not born entitled to equal rights It would be far nearer the truth to say that some men were born with saddles on their backs and other are booted and spurred to ride them is indented to slaves. Some men should be hard working slaves and others have to get beaten to perform. In conclusion George Fitzhugh thinks that he was a hard working man and now thinks that he doesn’t need to work anymore and not only that his hates African American thinks it is his duty to punish them when something is done wrong.
General Grant
All of a sudden I hear a large a bang and I see a canon ball heading straight towards our line of men. I see general grant yelling out orders that none of our men seem to understand after all we are just militia. My name is William Jameson I am 21 years old fighting for the north I am from Wisconsin stationed in Fort Sumter. I can’t even imagine what general grant is has going though his mind. Maybe he is wondering who is attacking us why are we getting attacked and should we fire back.
If there is one thing that I hate after being in the volunteer army it is the sound of gun shots. They have always startled me that is one reason I will probably never be a high ranking soldier once I hear gun shots I can’t think straight I would never be able to give orders to my soldiers. This is one good characteristics that general grant has that gives him the advantage in war. He started yelling out orders he wants us to fire back but it seemed to be making no difference they just had more fire power.
All of a sudden I heard the orders that I thought I would never hear coming out of general Grants mouth. Retreat; we turned our backs and ran towards the fort it was about a half a mile away I was one of the first ones in, do to my speed. I ran up the north stairwell to the roof once there I could help but notice the bodies that lay on the ground in front of the fort those were the ones who did make it. Once in the fort I was standing next to general Grant he was the first one in because he was on a house at the start of the battle and on one knows how to a handle a horse better then general grant; I heard once that he was one of the best house handlers in union probably due to him growing up with horses all around him.
In addition to that the battle carried on for 39 hours we were out numbered 500 to 80 not only that we couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn. During those long 39 hours I couldn’t help but notice some of the generals flaws like I noticed that he couldn’t stand the site of blood and in addition to that he hated war in general he just looked so uncomfortable the whole time. Although that is very understanding having all of those men counting on you to tell them the right orders.
In conclusion we had to surrender the fort to the confederates; but that wasn’t the only battle in the civil war there were many others that general Grant and myself took on first hand and it turned out that we everyone a couple to.

The man in the rabbit Suit
The man in the rabbit suit desperately tried to hail a cab, but inside the rabbit suit wasn’t a very happy man; his name was Tom. Tom is a party animal, literally, he dresses up in his rabbit suit and attends to famous children’s birthday parties. Although Tom is wearing a rabbit suit he is not a nice man. Tom is a thieve and a drug dealer who steals money from the famous while attending their children’s birthday parties.
Heist one this was a big party for a six year old, his parents had millions and it was just the kind money that tom needed. So tom hails a cab and gets to the birthday party where all the children are happy and they are taking pictures and playing; but that is just the start. Tom excuses himself to the bathroom. Instead of going to the bathroom he finds himself straight at the family safe as he fills his bag with money and jewels as alarm goes off and he make a quick get-a-way out the side window.
As he runs down the street he hears the cops coming and he jets though some backyards. Tom later finds himself back at his house, he walks in and to his surprise sitting in his living room chair is his arch nemesis the tiger. They are both in the same business of stealing money and drug dealing, but this was the Tom’s unlucky day. He stole one too many jobs from the tiger and it was payback time so the tiger pulled out a gun and BAM shot tom the rabbit right to the floor.

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both

Harrison Bergeron
Imagine living in the year 2081 and the whole country is perfect, nobody is better than anyone else. All of this equality is due to the 211th , 212th and 213th. Amendents. In this short story Harrison Bergeron was a rebel against the perfect government, in an extreamly futuristic irony.
This short story takes place in 2081. It starts out with Hazel and George, both who kids living in the year 2081 and they are both handicapped. Although they are not parapalegics in the way we think of handicapped people. They are handicapped because they are smarter than everyone and because of this they have to were ear pieces. These ear pieces prevent them from concentrating for too long and to knock off their train of thought. Now Harrison Bergeron is a very talented man and to keep him from being better than anyone else he is inprisoned and is forced to wear a body suit that prevents him from showing his talents.
Next, these handicaps don’t prevent Harrison from rebelling against the government and turning this short story in to an irony. First off, this short story starts off with the world in chaos because nobody is different from one another had to be handicapped of that special talent. Secondly the main character struggles for sanity and in this case Harrison being very handicapped is struggling for sanity. Lastly this short story ends in the rebellion of Harrison breaking out of jail and later getting shot down in front of live news.
In conclusion this short story and irony teaches us that nobody should be just like anyone else and we each are our own and that is how the world should be.
